Buttons appear frequently in my work as a signifier of domesticity and playful ornamentation.  They are a means of functionality, attachment and decoration; a sign both of wealth and thrift. In this series they became punctuations for hacked narratives, presented as a connector for geometry, wordplay and material exploration.
