Hyperbolic Flock

A mix of nature, myth and math flutters and migrates through my studio. These crocheted forms are based in hyperbolic geometry, each one suspended, pulled into a howl, or a groan or a hrrrmf. The materials are warm and fuzzy,  industrial and recycled.  The multi-dimensionality, geometry and topology navigate in  a direction where mathematics can opens the portal to -other non-linear, non-Euclidean, non-Cartesian ways of being, where time and space are folding one over the other, bridging the distance, into endless possibilities.
