The image of a wave used for the First and Second Wave interventions was a photocopy of a video still, which I mounted on canvas and folded up. I carried the folded wave in my pocket with the intention of community interaction in the form of snapshot photography.  The collage of photos became the Wave, presented in the Somerville Theatre widows in Davis Square.  This is when I became known as the wave lady.  It evolved into a silkscreen and instructional, and was included in the Women’s Caucus for the Arts book: Blaze published in 2006.
