Iron casting is a quest for beauty the industrial nature of Iron.  Bridges and pans are made of cast iron, and these revolutionized how we travel and how we cook.  The iron age was pivotal in warmaking. In the 20th century backyard iron casting furnaces made a comeback for a small group of molten loving artists. Coral Lambert was my mentor at my first Iron Pour Residency during the US/UK Iron Symposium at Salem Art Works, Salem NY. The Steel Yard hosted many Iron Pours, both for casting and performative, over the years, in Providence RI.
