A mix of nature, myth and math flutters and migrates through the studio. These forms are based in hyperbolic geometry, uniquely suited to the technique of crochet. The multi-dimensionality, geometry and topology navigate in a direction where mathematics opens the portal to other non-linear, non-Euclidean, non-Cartesian ways of being, where time and space are folding one over the other, bridging the distance, into endless possibilities. Each form references an avian creature; for example a ptarmigan, blue jay, canary and bat.
